MAY 26th - Jeff books lead role in a PSA for Family Crisis Intervention! Reunited...yet again...with Shane and Kelle Ortiz...AWESOME!!!
MAY 26th - Jeff is on set again with Cybill Shepherd and Brooke Elliot on "Queen of Mean", the ninth episode of Drop Dead Diva's second season. Sharing the screen with these incredible actresses is pure heaven!!
MAY 24th - We're proud to announce that one of Jeff's acting students, Chandler Riggs, just booked a lead role in Frank Darabont's new AMC zombie series "The Walking Dead"!! Chandler is incredibly talented and his fine career has already been established with large supporting roles in films like "The Wronged Man" with Julia Ormond and "Get Low" with Robert Duval. The sky's the limit, Chandler!! Way to go!!

MAY 14th - Jeff is cast by Amy and Herb Kossover for a ministry project to be shot next week on the campus of Mount Paran Christian School. So happy to FINALLY be working directly with this amazing duo!!
MAY 12th - Jeff joins the cast of George Pierre's short film "Smoked". Jeff is excited to be working with George and rest of the cast which includes Michael Beasley, Kendrick Cross, Gordon Danniels, and Michael Cole!
May 11th - "The Party" is finally screening in Atlanta! May 6th - (Peachtree City, GA) - The same night Jeff wraps his second episode of "Drop Dead Diva", he learns he is back for a third! Next week, Jeff will start filming "Queen of Mean" with Cybill Shepherd!!
May 5th - Jeff is on location at Glenridge Hall with his dear friend and talented actress, Angie Harrell, filming the PSA for the Lung Cancer Association. Great script!! Wonderful cause!! This is gonna be fun!!!!
APRIL 2010
April 25th - Jeff begins production on "Every Customer Leaves Happy", the corporate video for Waffle House, with Omega One Productions. The shoot will be completed in May in Monroe, GA.
April 19th - Jeff is proud to announce the quick return of "Doug Resnick" to Lifetime's hit show "Drop Dead Diva"!! Jeff begins filming episode #206 next week!! (More details (and pics) coming soon!!)
April 19th - Jeff is cast alongside good friend Angie Harrell in a very ingenius PSA for the Lung Association.The project, "Lung Love and the Restless", is being produced by Market Zero and will be shot in Atlanta on May 5th!!
April 15th - A WONDERFUL TAX DAY GIFT!! Jeff's son, Brody Rose, is officially chosen by DIXIE PAPER PLATES as a principal for a VERY NICE print campaign!! At only 5 years of age, Brody has booked FOUR OUT OF FIVE auditions! Go Brody!!! (He definitely gets his good looks from his Mommy!)
April 14th - A NEW BOOKING!! Omega Media Group casts Jeff as the lead actor in an upcoming corporate film for Waffle House. Jeff starts shooting next week in Monroe, GA!
April 10th - Jeff is cast in "COMMON GROUND", a ten minute play by Raymond Fast. The production is part of the Onion Man ten minute play series. Jeff is really excited to be directed by his good friend, Carolyn Choe. Performances are June 3 - June 13th at the Lionheart Theatre in Norcross. Jeff is also proud to announce that his two dear friends, David Silverman and Kelly Young-Silverman, are having their individual plays produced, too. April 5th - Jeff is the new host of "Car Talk" on CW/69. Jeff is shooting today on location at Autosmith in Union City. Look for the new 30-minute shows to begin airing every week starting later this spring.
MARCH 2010
March 13th - Jeff is nominated for BEST ACTOR!! The 168 Film Festival has selected Jeff as a Best Actor Nominee for his role in Jim McKinney's "The Party". Jeff is proud to announce nods for his fellow castmates Maggie Jones (Best Actress) and Carrie Walrond Hood (Best Supporting Actress)! All together, "The Party" is up for 8 major awards! Winners will be announced at the 168 Film Festival on March 27th in Los Angeles!! Join us if you can!!
March 13th - Jeff is cast in a Guest Starring role in Drop Dead Diva!! Jeff is extremely proud and excited to be cast in the incredible hit show, Drop Dead Diva! Jeff will portray "Doug Resnick", opposing attorney to Brooke Elliott's masterful portrayal of "Jane Bingum". It will be an honor to work with Brooke and the rest of the cast...which includes Chad Lowe and Ricki Lake...and Jeff's good friends Ashley LeConte Campbell as "Rhonda Grant" and Jack Walker as "Carl Shanks"!!
March 2nd - Jeff hosts another training video for Home Depot on location in Kennesaw, GA! (We LOVE the Home Depot!!!)
March 1st - Congrats to cast and crew of Jim McKinney's short, "The Party"!!! We've advanced and become a finalist at this year's 168 Project and the film is eligible for all top awards! February 11th - While on set with Home Depot, Jeff learns he is cast as the male lead in Jim McKinney's and Helen Urriola's 168 Project, "The Party"!! Jeff is excited to be working with the very small cast that includes Carrie Walrond Hood and Maggie Jones!!
February 2nd - Major Bryce Ogden is back on Army Wives!! Jeff is shooting season 4 in Charleston, SC. (We can't give away any secrets...Just because he's back doesn't mean Major Ogden necessarily survived the season 3 cliffhanger. These sequences just MIGHT be flashbacks.) ;o) hmmmmmmm?......

January 28th - Jeff is cast as the host of another training video for Home Depot!
January 26th - TPvLF wins award!! The People v Leo Frank, the docu-drama Jeff is so proud to be a part of, wins a SPECIAL JURY AWARD at the "History Makers" awards in NYC!! Check out the details HERE!!

November 2nd - Ben Loeterman's "The People v Leo Frank" makes its national television broadcast debut!! Catch Jeff as "Boots Rogers", sharing the screen with Will Janowitz ("The Sopranos"), Seth Gilliam ("The Wire"), and many of Atlanta's finest actors in other major roles. The buzz about this docu-drama is very loud. Check your local listings for exact PBS broadcast schedules!!!

October 25 - Jeff learns that last year's IBM "24" piece, in which he played "Jack Bauer" alongside Elizabeth Keener's "Chloe", has won 5 Telly Awards.Way to go team!! Savage Bell and Rob Rogers and Heidi Jeanne Angle are geniuses!!!
October 22 - Jeff is hired by GO! Productions to shoot a corporate film for Crowne Plaza! It's great to be working with Rob Rogers and Dawn Turner again!!
October 7th - Jeff is hired as one of the lead characters in a two very big projects produced by Projections, Inc. Jeff is excited to be working many multiple days with Gonzalo Mejia and Beth Young and some of Atlanta's top actors on these corporate films.
SEPTEMBER 2009
September 15 - Jeff is cast by the North American Mission Board!!
Jeff will share the screen next week with actress and producer, Cheryl Collins, as a co-host in this important video project to be distributed to churches nationwide.
September 14 - Jeff celebrates his birthday in prison!!
Jeff is in North Carolina on his birthday for DAY ONE of the feature film, "One Good Man". Jeff is producing the film with Advent Film Group and Brightline Pictures. And, the first very first sequence is being shot at the Montgomery County Jail in Troy, NC!! September 10 - "Much Ado About Middle School" premieres!! The feature film by Elevating Entertainment premieres at the historic Belcourt Theatre in
Nashville, TN! It is an honor for Jeff to share the screen with screen legends Lee Meriwether and Bill Cobbs. The cast is filled with even more talent and soon-to-be stars!!

Jeff is hired as co-producer, casting director, and 2nd unit director on the SAG feature film "One Good Man"!! The film is being produced by Brightline Pictures and Advent Film Group. Principal photography begins in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on September 8th, 2009.

Jeff is back in Charleston, South Carolina shooting another episode of "Army Wives"! Yes, Major Bryce Ogden is back. And this time he will be a major part of the season-ending cliffhanger. Stay tuned for air dates!

May 19th - 22nd - Jeff is proud to be working again as an "officer" with I/O Solutions...this time in metro Atlanta! The Gwinnett County PD is using Jeff and Dan Triandiflou to help assess upcoming Sergeant and Lieutenant candidates. Working with Chicago based I/O Solutions is always a challenging exercise in extremely realistic improv!May 2009 -
May 8th - June 20th - Jeff is cast by Raven Pro Media (Michael Morrione and David Baker) in the lead role of their first independent narrative film "Goin' Green". Jeff is extremely proud to portray another Army soldier and to share the screen in this very pro-military piece with Ted Huckabee and Candace Mabry! Also, Jeff is honored to be joined by Gavin McCulley, key military technical advisor ("Army Wives"). It can't be said enough..."Thanks for having my back, Gavin. You're the man!!"

July 2, 2008 - Jeff is cast in a lead role in Brandon Osterman's Civil War drama, "Astray"!! Produced by Warped Wing Productions, principal photography on this 35mm film begins in Savannah, Georgia on July 5th, 2008.
Jeff is hired as Casting Director by Brightline Pictures for the company's upcoming romantic comedy, "Take Two". The feature film, directed by Manny Edwards, will be shot in Valdosta and Jacksonville in October of 2008.
This is a truly wonderful production. And, Jeff is excited to team up with the like-minded professionals at Brightline.

June 6-9, 2008 - Together again!!
Jeff and Jeff (Rose and Shipman, that is) will collaborate again on another major training video for the Georgia Department of Transportation. This time, during this 4-day shoot, anything and everything anyone could ever want to know about TRAFFIC SIGNALS will be revealed!
Let's see...green means "go"; red means "stop"; and yellow means...what does yellow mean?
Jeff is grateful for this ongoing work with the GA D.O.T.

May 24, 2008 - Bringing history to light!
Jeff has been cast as lead detective "Boots Rogers" in Ben Loeterman's documentary re-telling of the story of Leo Frank, the man many consider wrongly accused and lynched for the 1915 murder of young Mary Phagan.
This piece is of extreme interest to Jeff since he grew up in Marietta, GA (where the lynching took place) and has known the story as long as he can remember.
Filming begins in mid-June 2008 in and around Atlanta.
May 22, 2008 - Jeff is cast as Major Bryce Ogden on the hit Lifetime Television series, "Army Wives". Jeff's character will be introduced in the fifth episode of season two...an episode that will be directed by Joanna Kerns!!
Watch for this episode to air around July 6th, 2008!! (Stay tuned for a confirmation on the broadcast date.)
May 5, 2008 - That's my boy!! (Part Deux!!)
While at the wonderful world of Disney, we learn that Brody is at it again! He has been chosen as a principal talent for an upcoming print shoot for the GA Lottery. These advertisements will be seen in magazines and on billboards and will shoot in Atlanta on May 16th.

April 10, 2008 - That's my boy!!
Jeff's son, Brody, has just been cast as a principal actor in a new commercial for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. The spot is titled "9 Out of 10" and follows Brody being taken to CHOA by his father who happens to be a surgeon at a different hospital.
Jeff will portray Brody's "surgeon" father...but, that's beside the point! (Although Jeff is ecstatic to be sharing the screen with his son!)
A big THANK YOU to Annette Stilwell for her keen casting eye!! (And, to Jeff's mother-in-law for being unable to watch Brody on Wednesday...which allowed Brody the opportunity to accompany Jeff to the audition!!)
The spot will be shot this weekend (April 12th and 13th) and will air soon all over Georgia.
And, that's my girl!!
While on the subject of Jeff's talented children...
Jeff's daughter, Kayla, recently shot a music video for an up and coming Christian artist. The video was produced by the multi-talented Damon Wood and directed by none other than Dave Moody!!
Kayla played the lead character of the song in a flashback as a young ballerina.
Jeff proudly states this is not a joke anymore: His children (Brody - 3, and Kayla - 6) now have better resume's than he did when he was 30!!!
